A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act revising and restating the law relating to the Sumter County board of education and school superintendent, approved May 12, 2011 (Ga. L. 2011, p. 4020), so as to change the description of the school board districts; to provide for definitions and inclusions; to provide for election and terms of office of subsequent members; to provide for submission of this Act for preclearance under the federal Voting Rights Act of 1965, as amended; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
